Pokemon Platinum

As of September 19th, 2008, we have updated Shoddy Battle with the changes from Pokemon Platinum, the latest game in the Pokemon series. These changes are in the repository, so all server operators will be able to use them, if they so desire. |
Here is an overview of the major changes. If you cannot see these changes in the Team Builder, please make a new team. This may be a bit inconvenient, but it will work.
- The accuracy of Hypnosis has been reduced from 70% to 60%.
- Most pokemon have new moves.
- Several new pokemon exist (located at the end of the species list).
- A new item, the Platinum Orb, has been added. However, only Giratina-o can hold this item, and Giratina-o must hold this item (it cannot hold any other items).

One final note: the only new pokemon that is banned on the Official Server's standard ladder is Giratina-o, because it is a form of a pokemon that is already banned. We will not be banning pokemon before they get proper play time. Do not ask about this.
